With a history of more than 5,000 years, Lima always surprises travelers. Many of them are unaware that in our city we can find more than 200 archaeological sites including pyramids and pre-Inca citadels. It is for this reason that the Traveling Hearts team. has designed this night-time experience that mixes history in two emblematic places of the city and the enjoyment of our Peruvian cuisine.
After picking you up from your respective hotel, our Official Tour Guide will take you to the Amano Museum, a museum that focuses on pre-Columbian textile art and was founded by the Japanese businessman Yoshitaro Amano. Mr. Amano, in the 1950s, was one of the pioneers in giving value to the different ceramics and textiles that were desecrated from different archaeological sites in Peru. This motivated him to found the museum that bears his name in 1964, which is still currently run by the same family.
After visiting the museum, we will visit an archaeological gem in the heart of Miraflores, called Huaca Pucllana. We will walk through the differents terraces of the pyramid until we reach the top. The pyramid will be illuminated, which gives a different perspective because it allows you to appreciate the play of light and shadows created between the thousands of adobes that were used to build it.
Finally, our experience includes dinner at the Huaca Pucllana restaurant, a place renowned for its high quality Peruvian cuisine. During your dining experience you will continue to appreciate the beauty of the pyramid.
