In Peru, we are very fortunate to have diverse geographies, among them, we have a long coastal strip surrounded by sand dunes and a wonderful oasis in the middle of the desert. This is why we invite you to visit and explore the Ica region with us.
Just 3 hours south of Lima, we arrive at a beautiful destination, Paracas Bay, from which we will depart to explore our first destination: The Ballestas Islands. These islands are home to a variety of marine life, such as sea lions, guano birds and the chubby little Humboldt Penguin! For 2 hours we will be in the Peruvian sea to surround the islands in search of diverse fauna.
Upon returning to Paracas, we will have some free time to relax, perhaps eat some snacks and begin our journey for another hour towards the only natural oasis in South America: The Oasis of Huacachina.
The Huacachina lagoon is surrounded by palm trees and large dunes, home to an activity that demands a lot of adrenaline and fun! Get ready to scream at the top of your lungs as we speed through the dunes of the oasis. We do not go in the classic Buggies, we go in ROV Sandboxes, which are much safer, so you can enjoy the activity in peace.
Taking advantage of the fact that we are in the dunes, we will do the Sandboarding activity with our local expert guides. You will have a lot of fun! We will also make a stop so you can take panoramic photos of the entire Huacachina oasis and the city of Ica.
After the activities, we will give you recommendations of places where you can enjoy a delicious lunch, before returning to the city of Lima.
